Words Matter. Dyslexia is Prospatial Thinking
Empowering students to discover, use and hone their natural brilliance
Empowering students to discover, use and hone their natural brilliance
At Prospatial, we facilitate communication and collaboration among the major stakeholders, including private educational and medical therapists, who serve individuals with dyslexia (prospatial thinkers).
Also, in conjunction with Dyslexia Rescue www.readingrescuecenters.com, we teach pro-spatial children to discover, use and hone their natural brilliance.
We provide training, certification and ongoing support in our curriculum and methods to those who are interested in being new Prospatial Practitioners.
Founded in 2016 as Reading Rescue of Naples, Florida, Prospatial has been a leader in providing highly effective, strength utilizing, research-based training in reading for children and adults who are prospatial (dyslexic) and in training new practitioners to use our methods and approach.
Why Prospatial? Because spatial thinking is not an "-ism". We do not see it as a "disorder". All people are on a normal spectrum from linear thinker to spatial thinker. According to research, on average, the most intelligent are spatial. When a third of the world population is spatial, it isn't an "-ism". And, let's be honest, the word dyslexia often feels like a diss. Dys means "against". We are not against. We are pro. We are spatial thinkers. We are Prospatial.
We provide cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration as well as innovative online courses for prospatial thinkers and new Prospatial Practitioners. Join us today and be part of the re-evolution!
